I am just thinking now that I shoot too many people photos. However this is where my passion is but at the cost of losing so many other beautiful things that are around me. One of my regrets was not spending alot of time photographing planes landing at the Kai Tak ariport for at that time I found it boring standing and waiting as though I was waiting for a bus at the bus stop. What brought this album on was that Digby Ross was interested in doing an outing near a site that was related to the old Kai tak airport. I just happen to have an old photo taken on Checker Hill where planes where landing into the Kai tak airport.

Guest Blogger - Dilip's Quoted - 3

The longer I live the more convinced I become that life is 10 percent what happens to us and 90 percent how we respond to it. I believe that the single most significant decision I can make on a day-to-day basis is my choice of attitude. Attitude keeps me going or cripples my progress. It alone fuels my fire or assaults my hope. When my attitudes are right, there's no barrier too high, no challenge too great for me.

Guest Blogger - Dave Chung - Black & White Film - 1 of 3

Appreciate His Photo??  Flickr

I like the use of film very much. There is always something dramatic about using B&W film, the mood and feelings it creates with contrast and images. I don't use as much now, but I enjoy it very muich when I do. I plan to use it more often in the future whenever I get the chance. There is something unique about using film rather than digital. So to me, to get that one shot is always a challenge. Most of all its all about enjoying it.

I am shooting an urban decay area which is isolated from the hustle and bustle and mad rush of your hustle and bustle life here in Hong Kong. It was extremly eerie and desolate and not a soul but feral dogs and chicken running abouts to greet me. I really enjoyed this photo shoot. This is my little retreat away from everyone and everything. Bing`s hide away.
