Thanks to -babYmiLz- as my Guest Blogger this week and here is her post.

Hi everyone, it's an honour to be Jenn's guest blogger this week and I hope everyone enjoys reading her blog. Way to go girl!! Well I ain't any big shot or what-so-ever, neither a well known person and I've been wondering why did Jenn chose me to be her 2nd guest blogger.
Hah!! Anyway there's a lot of things to be said but I'll try to keep it short and simple as possible. :P
Ahh… Let me introduce myself, I’m a 24 years old Malaysian Chinese currently trying to adapt myself here in Hong Kong. I was pretty much alone for the first 7 months and finally I couldn’t take it anymore. I was recommended to join a forum and so I did, that’s where I met Jenn during the first gathering I’ve joined. :D Woohoo!! Jenn’s my first friend in HK and she brings me for photo shooting during the weekends (only when she’s free). Anyone interested being my friend showing me around HK too? XD
I miss my parents, friends and the food back in Malaysia very much.
The lifestyle in HK is very much different compared to Kuala Lumpur. Malaysia is a multi-racial country which consists Malay(majority), Chinese, Indian and others. Hereby I would like to educate most people that we Malaysian Chinese do get offended being called ‘Ma Lai Yan (Malay people)’ because we’re not even one. Malays in Malaysia are Muslims and we’re not!
We’re still proud to be Chinese!
At some point I feel more comfortable in HK compared to Malaysia maybe because it’s populated with Chinese.
Anyway let me show you some pictures of the Malays and Indians in Malaysia, so please don’t call me a Malay thank you very much. =P
I hope the pictures allow you to differentiate what are the differences about races.

Okay..Okay.. I better stop posting more food because it’s really making me hungry. Lol!
There are many people who asked if I can speak Cantonese here and I would tell them
“Yeah, I can speak Malaysian Cantonese”. Well it’s slightly different where some locals couldn’t understand what I’m talking about and Jenn was complaining to me yesterday that my Cantonese sucks.
LOL. Anyway let me give you few examples of Malaysian Cantonese VS HK Cantonese for a laugh :-)1. Raining – Lok Sui VS Lok Yu
2. Bored – Sien VS Mun
3. Want – Oi VS Yiu
4. Smoking – Siu Yin VS Sik Yin
5. He/Him – Hei VS Kui
6. Pineapple – Wong Lai VS Po Lo
7. Police Station – Mata Liu VS Caai Kuun
Well I hope you all get what I mean and enjoyed it. Lol! Anyway I’ve written quite a lot and I hope everyone enjoys reading it. ^_^ Hoping to have more friends in HK therefore I don’t need to feel very much alone! *Cheers to Jenn and all the best on your blog!*
